Study
1 pilot study was conducted: The effect of organically bound iodine in JODA ORGANIKA® oily form * on the parameters of the internal environment in patients with hypercholesterolemia. Conclusion: The use of JODA ORGANIKA® - an oily form * at the recommended daily dose of 10 ml (150 μg organically bound iodine) did not aggravate the fat metabolism parameters in any of the 13 hypercholesterolemia patients, nor did hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism or sugar metabolism disorder. In a pilot study with patients, a significant decrease in total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and VLD-cholesterol was found in individual comparisons after 8 weeks of use. Using a general linear model for repeated measurements, a significant increase in HDL-cholesterol concentration in blood serum was found.
